Oh, so, I'm playing a ToL mini-campaign with over AIM right now. 8D We both wanted to play, so I'm kind of teaching him the ropes of the game and getting him settled into his character, a Plant-aligned Salguin. Hopefully I can convince him to join my campaign, then I'd just need one more person before we can start it~

Yes, I'm a nerd and I get all of my Pokemon news straight from a Pokemon wiki. Moving on.

I dunno if I'd get it, at least not right away--I've accumulated 100+ hours on my Diamond version and have my Pokedex at least 3/4ths full, I don't exactly want to start all over on THAT jargle. A few refreshing changes might be nice, as would a chance to play through again with a different team (and a different outfit, oh boy!), but I wouldn't want to pay the price of a full game for it. So...we'll see, I guess.
